THE STORY BEHIND THIS DESIGN:  ISSUE #16 of “RESPECTIBILI-TEES”, a comic cover collection inspired by the work of Pop Art legend Roy Lichtenstein. This piece was directly inspired by unmistakable Motown sound providing the soundtrack to the world.  Motown was a significant platform that created, propelled and fueled dreams of young black America.  Motown put faces that looked like us in spaces and places we never dreamed of being.  Thank you, Motown, for elevating and expanding the goals of success for young black youth across the globe!!
